Where it comes from
Multani mitti has been used across South Asia as a cleansing clay for generations. The deposits we source from lie in Bikaner and Barmer, where the clay is extracted, sun-dried and hand-sorted to remove stones and darker seams before milling.
Colour, fineness and moisture are what buyers notice first, so each lot is graded on all three. Cosmetic grade is milled finer and sieved twice; industrial grade is supplied coarser for absorbent and bleaching applications.

Is the cosmetic grade tested for microbes and heavy metals?
Cosmetic-grade lots are tested by an accredited lab and the report is shared with the certificate of analysis. Tell us your market's limits and we test against them.
